Scot Shaffer Agency Owner (Licensed in TX & LA)
Scot has over 20 years in the insurance industry running his own agency. He was raised in Sour Lake, Texas and graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School. He went on to attend Lamar University until 2002 when he opened his first insurance agency in Beaumont, TX. Scot currently lives in Orange County, TX with his wife, Angel, and their two children who attend Bridge City ISD. The Shaffer family is actively involved in their church, Common Ground in Bridge City. They are involved in many community- focused organizations and non-profits that pour back into the communities that have graciously supported their agency over the last 20 years. The Shaffer family Stands strong in their faith of Jesus Christ. Giving back to and taking care of those in need is a God-given responsibility and honor that Scot, Angel and their children are committed to living out. Following 20 years of owning a successful Farmers Insurance agency, Scot sold the agency back to Farmers. Through prayer and God’s direction, Scot opened an independent insurance agency bearing the name, GOOD STEWARD INSURANCE GROUP, LLC. The name, Good Steward, comes from the root definition of Scot's last name, Shaffer. It means, one who responsibly and faithfully manages all the resources entrusted to us by God. Matthew 25:23, “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness.” As a man of faith, Scot strives to put God above all else; this includes his business. He believes the honor of serving others with their insurance needs is one given to him by God. Miranda Coulter (Licensed Producer)
Miranda is a proud lifetime Bridge City, TX resident. If her face looks familiar, it is highly likely she has served you in a professional capacity throughout the years. Her and her husband, David, are both graduates of Bridge City High School. Miranda graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. In her time away from the office you can find her spending time with her husband and their 4 children, babysitting or serving at church. Serving God while serving others is a huge passion that she lives out in the workplace. If you have never seen Miranda, you have likely heard her because she is LOUD! Loud and proud of her faith, family and her work and she is always ready to share it all with you!
Lindsey Rives (Licensed Producer)
Lindsey recently left teaching after 20 years in education to work at Good Steward Insurance Group. With her background, she is efficient, organized, and has impeccable attention to detail that will serve you well on your next insurance policy. She focuses on selling policies to fit individual customer needs with an emphasis on long-term relationship building as well as excellent customer service. Lindsey graduated from Lamar University with her Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. She and her husband Steve and family live in Orangefield where her children attend school. Working at Good Steward Insurance Group has given Lindsey more opportunities to serve the community that she loves so dearly as she strives to give back to those that have poured into her.
Grayson Sutherland ( Licensed Producer)
Grayson Sutherland was born and raised in Beaumont, TX, where he currently lives. He graduated from Hardin Jefferson High School in 2011. While in high school he was a 3 year varsity basketball player and was coached by his dad. Grayson graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology with an Associate's Degree in Process Operating. He spent a short stint in New York City which led him to the realization that he belong in the SETX area. Being raised by a basketball coach, it is only natural that he is a basketball fan. Grayson also enjoy movies, live music, and traveling. Grayson Joined the Good Steward Insurance Group sales Team in the summer of 2024.
Tiffany Dear (Licensed producer)
Tiffany was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, and relocated to Vidor, TX, after her husband, who is originally from the area, retired from the U.S. Air Force. She is committed to helping customers find insurance policies tailored to their specific needs, with a strong focus on efficiency and organization. Dedicated to making the process smooth and stress-free, she strives to build lasting relationships while providing outstanding service every step of the way.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, three children and their boxer, Stella, whether relaxing at home or heading to the lake for a day outdoors. She is also passionate about CrossFit and staying active. Tiffany looks forward to serving her community by helping individuals and families find the right insurance coverage to protect what matters most.
